The Australian Forest walk at Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens
The Australian Forest trail meanders alongside the main pathway, sharing stories about plant species, habitats and wildlife, and engaging visitors in issues associated with land management and climate change. We aimed to stir visitors into seeing the landscape differently, and to have them consider the role plants and forests play in enriching our lives—economically, in health, research, education and spirituality.
