Our Island Home

Phillip Island Penguin Parade, the Nobbies, Churchill Island , Koala Conservation Centre ad much more are managed by the Nature Parks. Over time each developed its own style of interpretation. Now, it was time to create a consistent, yet individualistic interpretation style and experience. Our Island Home was the result.

The Concept

The project was in two parts. First, a review and analysis of visitor sites was undertaken. Based on these results, research, community consultation, staff interviews, and brainstorming lead to a series of themes and concepts, including addressing featured walks, places for contemplation and reinvigorating current visitor experiences.

As one of the nations more visited destination, the Penguin Parade drew particular attention.
