Cradle Mountain National Park has slowly grown to become an iconic tourism destination. It’s unique and diverse wildlife, unchanged flora dating back to the time of the dinosaurs and gigantic, breath-taking mountain panoramas are huge attractions. The visitor precinct was lacking in size, accommodation and, particularly in interpretation.
The Concept
From carpark to walking trail, each step would take the visitor through a series of interpretative experiences designed to cover the thematic structure designed by Creative Hat Interpretation. This was brought into reality by Futago’s clever design and by Cumulus Architecture.
