Visitor Centre Exhibition
The visitor centre at Wilson Promontory is the gateway for visitors to find out about walks, wildlife, flora, marine life, beaches and accommodation. It was essential that the space provide easily digestible information about activities at the Prom, while providing ways to manage visitor queries and queues.
The Concept
Working with Aeroplane Workshop, the concept involved splitting the pathways upon entry to the centre with tall interpretation boards designed to replicate the mountain peaks of the Prom.
In one direction visitors would encounter information about walks, and find answers without having to ask staff, while in the other direction they could learn about wildlife, beaches, marine life and much more.
